BCS steel runs the planning itself so that the transporter can be offered complete routes.
The planning program for delivery
For the planning job, BCS steel had been looking for a suitable planning program for some time to save planning time and realize more efficient trips and routes. This proved difficult due to the type of products and the double loading floor in the trailers. Ultimately they ended up at Bumbal. The simple web interface and the planning algorithm with sufficient options to deal intelligently with capacity characteristics (including for double loading floor) turned out to be a perfect fit for BCS.
Full automation
After a test month and good coordination of the system interface between the ERP of BCS steel and Bumbal, further implementation was completed quickly. The Bumbal driver APP is also introduced in consultation with the external transporter. In this way, BCS steel can quickly and easily access the track & trace. In addition, the external transporter can provide all necessary information (such as photos) to BCS steel. And this without any hassle. All in all, with the use of Bumbal, BCS steel is completely automated in the field of transport in one go. Fantastic! Bumbal offers the solution when it comes to transport planning.
